ETH Zurich tested by Pavia factory two machines 500 kW Turbocor. Together with the designer and the producer a machine was tested under functionning conditions (KW 1/5,5° and RKW 18/22°) at different stages of power.
The machines will soon be working in the Life Sciences Center of ETH.

Our Swiss French team has a new commercial technician, Mr. Kader Ben Mahmoud. Mr. Ben Mahmoud is owner of a degree in electronic and a business training. During his career he had the opportunity to work in a very-known company in Paris where he had been managing for many years the Technical and Customer Service. Welcome to RCS!
The new certified climate chamber for testing air conditioning systems for technical rooms has been presented today by our partner RC Group to a delegation from RCS. In the massive new construction, condensers and internal units can be tested independently or simultaneously under both standard and extreme conditions and airflows can be verified up to 90,000 m3/h under different static pressures. The new test chamber has been built in a new separate building adjacent to the existing factory.
RC GROUP takes part to the Certification Program EUROVENT. A series of machines was tested for energy efficiency.
Once again RCS trusts in the HCAP team for the next season and is sponsoring the official team T-shirt. RCS will have the opportunity to invite customers and commercial partners in the new PLATINUM LOUNGE. They will see the games in an exclusive place, with the team management, the main sponsors, and the players in the end of the game.
The FMI Hospitals in Interlaken also rely on FRIGO TURBO. The two new compact chillers are now in operation. With 300 kW cooling capacity per 1,3 m2 floor space they are truly exceptional.
The new production facilities for chillers with a capacity exceeding 600 kW has been presented today by our partner RC Group to a delegation from RCS. It is an impressive hall which will be completed in the coming months. One thing that's very interesting is the adaption of the structure for machine testing which includes huge water storage tanks and electrical substations.
Two 650 kW air-cooled water chillers with screw compressors has been delivered today to the CENTRO OVALE in Chiasso, one of the most prestigious and modern buildings under construction in Ticino. The units were placed on a reinforced concrete tower which contains all the technical facilities of the building.

RCS has delivered and put into operation a highly advanced system with 3 reversible water/water heat pumps of 40 kW each. The provided units can produce chilled water or hot water as needed feeding a 4-pipe system which allows a very precise temperature control.

Darwin Airline, the airline company from Ticino, has chosen RCS for cooling its data center. The provided unit is a direct air free-cooling system which ensures highest energy savings with temperatures below 20° C. During the winter months the waste heat from the server room is also used to heat the offices.
Even one of the most important and prestigious schools in Switzerland, the American School in Montagnola, has decided to cool its auditorium with a ducted 70 kW heat pump of RCS.
The first Energy Event organized by RCS was held on Friday 24 April 2009 at the Ferrari Showroom in Grancia. In the spectacular setting of the "prancing horse" about sixty invited of the industry have followed an interesting conference on energy policy of the Federal Government and on several new offerings on the market. Keynote speaker was Filippo Lombardi, chairman of the Energy Commission to the Council as well as a board member of RCS. The conference was followed by a rich cocktail and interesting discussions among the participants.
During the play-offs the HCL players will wear a new jersey sponsored by RCS.
The new jersey will be worn for the first time during the last derby of the season.
RCS has already been able to acquire great experience with these oil-free compressors Turbocor. In fact, RCS has already provided the same technology to the Merian Iselin Hospital in Basle and to the BMW Sauber building in Hinwil. This refrigeration system ensures significant energy savings.

RCS has tested at RC Group factrory in Pavia together with the consultant engineer and the intaller, 3 chillers with the new oil free turbo compressor to be supplied to BMW Sauber for the cooling of the new building; the famous Formula 1 Team in Hinwill. The supply is also including a large number of close control units and fan coils.
RCS supply displacement Computer Room Air Conditioning units of Heat Hunter series for public Radio and TV of Italian speaking Cantons of Switzerland.
From today, Ing, Jean Claude Machoud already partner and consultant of RCS, started in our company as director and responsable for the french speaking area. The presence of Mr. Machoud person with long commercial experience for the French part of Switzerland, that perfectly knows the products from RC Group that is selling since more than 15 years, will be extremely important to build an efficient net of sales and service in the french part of Switzerland.
RCS started today the first water chillers of 500 kW with magnetic bearings for the Hospital Merian Iselin in Basel, member of the Leading Hospital of Switzerland. New chillers will grant and exceptional energy efficeny to the Hospital. The second chillers of 500 kW will be started the Jannuary.
RCS recently bought 2 Smart cars that are renewing the actual RCS cars fleet with a new modern style.
RCS supply 2 free cooling water chillers of 300 kW each and close control units for an important building in Basel for CIBA.
RCS supply 2 free cooling water chillers for a total colling capacity installed of 700 kW for an important Siemens building .
RCS supply a new water chiller for the Casino' Admiral in Mendrisio.
RCS has supplied 2 water chillers and 2 heat pump units for the production factory of the AGIE in Zandone, the meaning of the project is to give priority of heat recovery in winter were it exhist a constant cooling load and use heat pump in the mild seasons. The installed cooling capacity in 1.500 kW.
After Manor of Canobbio, Locarno, RCS supply also the water chiller for Manor in Bellinzona, again an important customer renewing his trust.
RCS recently supplied 2 water chillers RC Group for the cooling of the building where Fly and Atleticum shops are located in Lugano Grancia for a total cooling capacity of 400 kW.
RCS supply close control units of Pegasus range for the data centre of Teleticino the only private television in Ticino.
RCS just signed the contract for the supply for close control units for the building of Les Acacias. This important reference confirm one more time the reputation of RC Group products in the French part of Switzerland.

RCS supply a multifunction liquid chiller of Multiplo range from RC Group for the new building of IBSA in Grancia.
RCS has commissioned the multifunction chiller - heat pump of RC Group installed in the chiasso custome clearance building, the biggest Minergie (2363m2) every built in Ticino ed one of the biggest in Switzerland. This particolar units allow to recover cold water during the heating mode and recover warm water during the cooling mode.
